Robin Hood BBC

Robin Hood, BBC’s remake that ran from 2006-2009, was a campy, fun show if you didn’t take it too seriously. Costuming, language, even some of Robin’s escapes, were modern in flavor. It starred people I had never heard of, but I had to watch it. It was Robin Hood, after all, and I’ve been a fan since I was a child, glued to the black & white TV in my parents’ room, watching reruns of the series, as well as getting my first crush in the form of Errol Flynn and laughing at Daffy Duck’s “Yoiks and away!” antics.
